Salary: £45,000 - 75,000 per year

Requirements:
  • Deep knowledge of enterprise software licensing, including Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, RedHat and SUSE
  • Experience working with SAM tools such as Snow or Flexera
  • Experience delivering ELPs using multiple data sources
  • Audit and compliance expertise
  • Cloud licensing knowledge, including AWS and GCP
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Ability to motivate and influence others
  • Strong customer relationship building skills
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively
  • ITIL v3/v4 Foundation qualification
Responsibilities:
  • Answer Tier 1 licensing knowledge queries across Microsoft, IBM, Oracle, SAP, RedHat and SUSE
  • Produce ELPs regularly to maximise ROI and drive cost optimisation
  • Lead vendor audits and represent our organisation professionally
  • Analyse and understand usage for key engineering applications such as Siemens, Dassault and Mathworks
  • Ensure software licence entitlement information is loaded accurately and that clauses are fully understood
  • Work daily with Snow License Manager and Snow for Engineering
  • Operate and maintain our SAM policies, processes and standards
  • Attend and represent SAM at governance forums
  • Review complex licensing terms and contracts
  • Help reduce risk by lowering renewal costs, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and providing insight into licence utilisation and spend
